I am a lover of Jesus Christ. I believe in the power of words. I find strength in love and I am driven by my purpose in life. I have two little boys who are my world. And, I blog about them too. I'd like to call myself a professional photographer (you can check out my website HERE) but the truth is, I just love to take pictures. This blog is my way of documenting it all and, hopefully, telling my story one photo at a time.

(DELAWARE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER: CHERISH & JAMAI)

A few weeks ago, Brian and I had the pleasure of photographing two incredibly beautiful people who exchanged their vows in front of their closest family and friends. The ceremony was beautifully intimate and vows that they shared had almost every guest with a tear in their eyes.

Cherish & Jamai, thank you so much for choosing us to be with you on your amazing wedding day. To share in the laughter, the tears and the joy with you and your friends and family was truly a blessing for us. We pray that God shower his blessings all over you and your union. And, we will certainly be there to hold your marriage up in our prayers that you may continually glorify Him throughout your relationship and the love that you show to one another.

Many thank yous to the staff at the Sheraton Wilmington South Hotel for being so kind and accommodating. Thank you to Shonte Hunter for the beautiful florals, Monique Anderson for the flawless hair and make-up, Stephanie Weston for making sure that the day ran so effortlessly, and my amazing husband for such an awesome job on videography.

Lovely Job!

(NEW JERSEY COUPLE PHOTOGRAPHER: THE JOHNSONS...)

I'm not even sure how to start this one. I've typed up several lines and backspaced like no tommorrow far too many times in the last thirty minutes I've been sitting here. There is a complete back story on this lovely lady coming soon but for now I'll just stick to the regularly scheduled program.

I am working on a new project (as I always am) and I was in need of a few families, couples etc. to help me out with some new content and Mrs. Johnson and her hub signed up for the ride. They braved the colder weather and the result... well lets just say I might be a little obsessed with these images :)

dare tell me you don't just LOVE this...

isn't she just goWageous...

and I just love the little moments in-between...

absolute FAV of the day...

Nikki & Reggie,

Thank you so much for spending your morning with us. I have so much more to say but I am waiting until after our girl date :)

I hope you love your images as much as I LOVED taking them!

(NEW JERSEY FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER: THE WALTONS...)

It moves me. It moves me to know how so much time can pass and yet you can be connected by something so familiar and relateable as if no time passed at all!!! Lynette was my suite mate in our good ole' college days. Our rooms separated by just a bathroom and a couple of footsteps, she became one of "my person's" when moving so far away from home and to such an unfamiliar place. We bonded, we had arguments and I'm sure we rolled eyes at each other a few times to many :) It was like just adding water, and I had an instant sister.

After 9+ years passing by, many jobs, wedding vows, and the birth of two baby boys... we're connected again. It's something like a band-of-mommies. Don't hate, it's true. And, I am beyond thrilled that she road tripped it with her goWageous family to let me document their beautiful love.

aren't they goWageous!!!

I brought along this cute little Christmas tree for JoJo to help me decorate. I'm like the toddler whisperer...lol

I just love his little face...

I have such a soft spot for little boys and these two are just adorable...

Lynette & Jonni,

Thank you so much for coming to hang with up for the morning. I KNOW you'll love the photos almost as much as I do :)
