     There is something about the Bible that makes me feel new inside. the comfort of knowing that it's all been said and done before, even ThaT many years ago make me feel like I just might not be crazy at times after all. The wisdom and instruction that I often take for granted that lies just beneath those age old pages just waiting for me to explore. I know that I might be starting to sound a bit dramatic right about now, but it really IS just that serious.

     Oftentimes I can get so wrapped up in life that I let way TOO much time pass before perusing its pages. I open the cover to the title page "THE BIBLE" and then let my fingers slip on to the Table of Contents: The Books of the Bible. "What should I read???" 

I know you've been there before...

Matthew? Mark? Luke? John?....Genesis? Ruth?...AGgghhhHHHH! There is one book for sure that will speak no matter how much I take in. Proverbs! 

The amount of wisdom that is found in that book of the Bible is PRICELESS... and now there is a new, wonderful way to carry it with you at aLL times.

Appetite For Success: A Taste of Proverbs is a 31 day devotional journal that extracts the entire book of Proverbs from the Bible, includes a 12 month calendar, and scripture verses organized by topic. And the most amazing part of this new devotional is that it was compiled by my Mother-In-Love (so supeR proud of her :)

A few weeks ago she hosted a Ladies Luncheon/Tea to launch her new devotional and latest labor of love in celebration of the newest way to share God's amazing word with the world....

each chair held a bag of goodies filled with different ways to spread the news about this new devotional...

of course the food was delicious and the desserts...even better :)

side-note: I was super excited to accessorize with my first ever worn, I-think-I-might-have-been-British-in-another-life hat. Me and the SistA...

then it was time to address the guest and let the ladies know the story behind it all...

while also sharing a bit about Proverbs and the wisdom that it holds...

then on to a little book signing...

It really was such an amazing event. And, a beautiful reason to celebrate.
