MY 30 BEFORE 30

I'm getting OLD. Or maybe I should say old-ER! In exactly four hundred and seventy-six days I'll be celebrating my thirtieth birthday. Holy Cow (I never, ever say that but I felt it was so necessary so again I say, Holy Cow). The best part of getting older is all of the life experiences you are now OLD enough to participate in, while I believe the worst part is looking back on all the things you have yet to accomplish. If there is one thing that I have learned for sure in my last 28 years its the important of setting goals and deadlines. So I figured i would jump on the bandwagon and draw up my own 30 before 30. My list of 30 things that I would love to accomplish before turning the big 3-0!
1.Complete my family cookbook
2.Learn the art of Chinese cooking (or just make a couple dishes that the hubs is crazy for)
3.Take the boys to FAO Schwartz
4.Publish my first magazine
5.Publish my first children's book
6.Pay off credit card & hospital debt
7.Have someone else take our family photos
8.Finish my Baby Story
9.Learn to sew
10.Launch my children's clothing line
11.Build my Family/Children's Portfolio
12.Learn to make quiche
13.Take a trip to California
14.Become an advocate for an amazing cause
15.Read 10 books from start to finish (all children's books are excluded :)
16.Attend a photography workshop
17.Get published in a Children's magazine
18.Have breakfast/lunch/dinner with 15 different friends
19.Write a detailed list of 10 places I want to travel and 5 things I must do at each place
20.Run a marathon
21.Take a cooking class with the hubs
22.Visit my mommy with the boys
23.Have a picnic in the park
24.Interview my grandparents and record it
25.Plan an awesome 3-0 birthday bash
26.Start a photo collage for the boys (one photo a week)
27.Craft a keepsake for the boys
28.Build & finish my design inspiration for all rooms in my dream house
30.Make something special for 5 of my favorite people.
Of course as I check things off my 30/30 I'll be blogging about my accomplishment and doing a happy dance *here*! Anyone else have a 30 before 30 or 40 before 40 or even a 20 before 20 for all you young bucks out there?
